Parking Policies
Parking Reservations Must Be Made in Advance
Dupont Circle is located in the heart of downtown Washington, DC. It is an extremely popular neighborhood, and parking is restricted.
Self Parking: You may choose to self-park in the neighborhood. If you choose to self-park, you will need to pay close attention to the posted signs and be prepared to move your car from time to time. Parking enforcement is strict in DC and you may receive a parking ticket, which you can easily pay online. If that sounds like a small price to pay for the freedom to use your car whenever you want, then you definitely fit the self-parking profile.
We Park Your Car: We will be glad to park your car for you, for an additional charge. Please be aware that we do not have valet parking. We will park your car when you arrive and bring it back to you when you leave. You will not be able to use it in the meantime.
On weekdays, most of the parking spaces in our neighborhood are reserved for cars with diplomatic license plates, and most of the rest are reserved for neighborhood parking. That makes daytime parking very difficult. If you will be here during the week, we will be glad to park your car for you, subject to the following restrictions:
Parking is much easier in our neighborhood on the weekends. Both diplomatic and neighborhood parking spaces are available for general use starting on Friday evening at 6:30 PM until 7 AM (diplomatic spaces) or 9 AM (neighborhood spaces) Monday morning.
If you are coming to DC over the weekend, you can self-park and use your car whenever you like. We’ll show you the spaces that are available and tell you if and when you have to move your car. If you prefer to turn the car over to us and forget about it for the weekend, we’ll park it for you for an additional charge.
