Around the world, people come together for fellowship and celebration over food and drink. At Embassy Circle Guest House we host two celebrations
every day – a breakfast celebration with delicious food, conversation and laughter around the breakfast table, and a Happy Hour celebration with delicious wines, local micro-brews, and conversation and laughter in the living room. Eating and laughing – two essentials of a life well lived – and we do both every day at our very social Washington DC bed and breakfast inn.
Our light, healthy, protein-rich breakfast always includes a hot entree (fritatta, French toast, waffles, omelet), a fresh-cut fruit salad with ripe seasonal fruit; rich and luscious organic honey yogurt; delicious smoked salmon with cream cheese and capers; a platter of assorted cheeses; farm-fresh organic hard-boiled eggs; a selection of hot and cold cereals, including Betty’s homemade granola; a selection of organic breads for toasting and great jams and jellies for spreading; Raymond’s delicious date-nut bread – made from a family recipe handed down from Laura’s Scottish grandmother; orange juice; assorted teas; and full-flavored, full-bodied M. E. Swing’s coffees,
Breakfast is served from 7:30 – 9:30 AM Monday through Friday and 8:00 – 10:00 AM Saturday, Sunday and holidays at our Dupont Circle Bed and Breakfast. Coffee is usually available about 20 minutes before the breakfast is served so you can enjoy your first cup while you are reading the paper. Whether you’re hurrying out on business or sleeping in on vacation, we’ve got you covered!
Beautiful day? Enjoy coffee and breakfast on the back patio!
Sightseeing is hungry work and a snack is a welcome sight when you return to the house after a long day. Help yourselves to coffee or tea and a selection of great cookie bars and brownies.
Wine Time at Embassy Circle is one of the highlights of your stay with us. Laura loves great wines and enjoys selecting outstanding wines from around the world for you to taste. Join us in the living room and trade restaurant recommendations with owners and guests, or enjoy the wine in the privacy of your room as you get ready for a night on the town. What a great way to wind down after a day of meetings or sightseeing!
Wine, micro brews and light snacks are served every evening from 5:30-7:00 PM at our Dupont Circle B&B.
Raymond loves to cook and he has built himself a wonderful kitchen in our Dupont Circle Inn.
On a completely impromptu basis, he may fix his amazing Lebanese Mezze and invite you to gather around the kitchen island and enjoy hummus, tabouleh, falafel sandwiches, and moudardara (lentils, rice and caramelized onions) with yogurt.
You won’t need to go out for dinner!
